Tim J. Cannon

Tim J. Cannon, President

Prior to founding Cannon Building in 1994, Tim J. Cannon gained extensive construction expertise working for two builders and an architectural firm. Tim’s field experience combined with his leadership skills makes him an expert on the preplanning and management aspects of the construction process. Tim is a strategist and excels at delivering excellence in construction through efficiency and cost effective practices. Tim holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.

In addition to his work at Cannon Building, Tim participates in a wide variety of industry networking groups and serves on the board of directors for the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE). He is a member of of the American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles (AIA/LA) Committee on Architecture in Healthcare, the Construction Financial Management Association and ASHRAE. Tim actively participates in Vistage and Legatus.

Atef Moussa

Atef Moussa, Chief Financial Officer

Atef Moussa, Chief Financial Officer since 2010, is a passionate numbers man with over 40 years of finance expertise. With previous finance management experience at two large construction firms, Atef has brought Cannon Building to the highest level of finance and accounting practices. His responsibilities include management of all financial and tax reporting, negotiating insurance and 401k plans, development of cash and banking relationships, establishing and maintaining effective project budget and cost controls, and the overseeing the accounting department. His risk management expertise is key in the excellent safety results that Cannon Building, its clients, and its subcontractors have experienced. Atef holds a BS degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Irvine. Atef served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.

Mark Duckworth

Mark Duckworth, Field Operations Manager

As Field Operations Manager for Cannon Building, Mark Duckworth is responsible for all field operations ensuring work is done in accordance with the project strategy and construction documents. Mark manages the field aspects of Preconstruction and communicates expectations and direction regarding schedules, construction methods, policies, and standards. He monitors QA/QC on all projects, and oversees field-training programs. He also oversees all areas of safety and compliance. Mark has over thirty-five years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in both the Healthcare and Life Science sectors. He is well versed in OSHPD regulations and ISO Cleanroom requirements as well as their regulatory agencies.

Mark enjoys spending time at the beach surfing, riding bikes along the boardwalk, playing with his grandchildren, and dining with an ocean view.

Eliot Hansen

Eliot Hansen, Senior Estimating Manager

As Senior Estimating Manager for Cannon Building, Eliot Hansen is responsible for overall project cost estimating, including design coordination, and Preconstruction management. Eliot has over 40 years of construction experience. His work has encompassed a wide range of project types including life science, healthcare, office buildings, industrial business parks, automotive, educational/institutional, restaurants and governmental. Eliot holds a BS in Construction Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Eliot has been an active volunteer with the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 20 years.

Jeff Landgraf

Jeff Landgraf, Regional Manager - Greater San Diego Area

As Regional Manager for Cannon Building, Jeff Landgraf is responsible for overseeing all business operations for San Diego, and the surrounding area. This includes managing the construction team through all phases of the project, Preconstruction, construction, and post construction. Jeff has over fifteen years of experience in the construction industry, of which nine are with Cannon Building, in construction management, encompassing a wide range of project types including life science, industrial, healthcare, institutional, educational, corporate office, and resort property. Jeff’s dedication to the San Diego market has contributed greatly to the growth of Cannon Building.

Jeff serves as Treasurer and Board Member for the San Diego Chapter of ISPE.

He and his wife have three teenage boys and enjoy watching and often managing their teams in cross country, track, and baseball. He enjoys spending vacation time camping, fishing, and biking.
